📄️ How Accounts Work
Accencio's accounting system works on a "researcher-first" premise, meaning all accounts are meant to represent a single user. This user can be a researcher, a developer, a key organizational leader, or any other role that requires access to the platform. A user's account also provides the idea of creating a "managed organization", where others researchers can access platform capabilities and operate on shared data together. It is important to note that each organization is separate from the other, meaning that access to products, data, or settings are not shared between organizations.
📄️ Account Setup
Accencio requires an account to access the platform. This account is used to manage your organization, billing, and other settings.
📄️ Account Profile
Your Accencio profile holds information about who you are and what contact information is used to define your account as a user, as well as payment settings used to subscribe to products or data. Profiles may also hold relevant usage metrics and other information that may be useful to you as a user.
📄️ Payment Settings
Accencio requires at least one payment method to be added to your account to subscribe to products or data. This payment method is used to pay for the subscription of the organization you manage. You can add, update, or remove payment methods at any time.
