Payment Settings
Accencio requires at least one payment method to be added to your account to subscribe to products or data. This payment method is used to pay for the subscription of the organization you manage. You can add, update, or remove payment methods at any time.
Please note that only the owner of the organization can manage payment settings. Members of the organization do not have access to this information.
Adding a Payment Method
To add a payment method to your account, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your profile page
- Click the "Edit" icon to edit your profile
- Click the "Payment Settings" tab
- Click the "Add Payment Method" button
- Enter billing information:
- Full Name: The name on the card
- Billing Address: The billing address of the card
- Enter card details:
- Card Number: The card number
- Expiration Date: The expiration date of the card
- CVV: The security code on the back of the card
- Optionally select any customizations for the payment method:
- Display Name: A custom name for the payment method
- Description: A custom description for the payment method
- Color: Set this payment method's associated color
- Click "Add Payment Method" to save your changes
Updating a Payment Method's Details
To update a payment method's customization details, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your profile page
- Click the "Edit" icon to edit your profile
- Click the "Payment Settings" tab
- Click the "Edit" icon next to the payment method you want to update
- Update the payment method's details
- Click "Save" to save your changes
Removing a Payment Method
To remove a payment method, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your profile page
- Click the "Edit" icon to edit your profile
- Click the "Payment Settings" tab
- Click the "Delete" icon next to the payment method you want to remove
- Confirm the deletion process
- Click "Save" to save your changes
Payment Methods In Use
When you want to remove a payment method that is attached to an organization's subscription set, you must first update the organization to use a different payment method. Once the organization is updated, you can remove the payment method from your account. If you have two or more payment methods, you can set a different payment method as the default payment method to use for subscriptions during the removal process. To do this, click the "Delete" icon as normal, and then select a new payment method from the list of available payment methods before removing.
